Mission Project Summer 2025
GOI invites you to partner with us in mission, supporting one of the projects.
God loves a cheerful giver. Offering with gratitude affirms God's promises. God is faithful and generous. He blesses others through your offerings. Believers’ lives are fulfilled through offering and worship. Therefore, giving is not a burden but an opportunity to lift others up. We sincerely invite everyone to journey with GOI on the mission road and to become a channel of blessing to others.

Hope Relief Fund
Country known as Tata (pseudonym)

Tata is a country in the Arab world where 90% of the population is Muslim. It hosts a large refugee population of approximately 900,000 people. Most of these refugees are from Africa, and 73% of them are women and children.
In the midst of hardship and displacement, these refugees are in desperate need of hope. The "Hope Ministry" was established to help them encounter God’s love and healing, and to restore hope to their lives. Our team members serve as volunteer counselors, providing psychological support to the refugee community.
Through this ministry, our co-workers discovered the tremendous needs in the refugees’ daily lives. The Hope Relief Fund was therefore created to gather love offerings from churches and believers to supply essential goods and resources for the refugee community.
Your donations will help provide:
• Winter supplies
• Holiday celebration items
• Educational assistance
• Basic needs for the refugee center
May this love and care from God become a light in their lives, bringing hope and transformation.

Education For Children
Yangon, Myanmar

This poverty alleviation project is currently operating in three locations, primarily focused on providing education to children in local villages. Since over half of the residents live below the poverty line, we offer free after-school tutoring programs. While teaching the children, our team also supports local Christian women by involving them in the program, providing them with stable income through meaningful work.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, two of our team members visited one of the slum communities and discovered that nearly all residents were living below basic living standards. Many children were not attending school due to various hardships. The team partnered with Christian sisters in the village who had a heart for the community to provide free tutoring, encouraging children to pursue education. Through this educational platform, the Gospel has also been shared with the children and their parents.
The funds raised will mainly cover rent, local co-workers' monthly support, and basic supplies such as classroom stationery, snacks, and emergency aid for needy families. The beneficiaries include children and their families from two slum areas. Currently, we are serving approximately 100 people—most of whom are children.

GOI Uganda Mission Center
Yummy Book Club Children's Ministry
Kampala, Uganda

Children from low-income families in Uganda face severe shortages in educational resources. In impoverished communities, there are no public libraries available. The Yummy Book Club began as a reading initiative during the 2021 COVID-19 pandemic. To help children in the slums continue learning despite school closures, we delivered used books to 20 families and encouraged our scholarship students to help their younger siblings read.
After the pandemic, Yummy Book Club developed into a weekend reading program hosted at the mission center. With training, twenty local youth have formed a volunteer team. Through music worship, Bible story time, creative arts, and group reading activities, about 90 children from underprivileged families gather each weekend in a loving and joyful environment to learn and grow. The program aims not only to instill life values rooted in the Christian faith but also to provide the youth volunteers with opportunities to live out the commandment to “love your neighbor as yourself,” cultivating a sustainable, life-giving children’s ministry team.
Funds raised will go toward providing juice, snacks, learning materials, and reading rewards for the 90 participating children, as well as training courses for the youth volunteer team. The current outreach serves around 90 children aged 3–15 from the slums of Kampala, Uganda’s capital.
